Quarry Yards is a new master planned, mixed-use development in West Midtown Atlanta that will reshape the landscape of the city.
The development encompasses over 70 contiguous acres of land on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway next to the Bankhead MARTA Station. Phase 1 of Quarry Yards is currently being planned and will comprise approximately 27 of the 70+ acres. While specific uses and square footages are still being determined, the zoning for Phase 1 allows for up to 850 residential units, 575,000 square feet of office space, 75,000 square feet of retail/restaurants, and a 300-key hotel.
Quarry Yards is located directly adjacent to the new Westside Park at Bellwood Quarry, a 300-acre park scheduled to open in early 2019. Westside Quarry Park will be the largest park in Atlanta and create a tremendous amenity for the city and those who live, work, and play at Quarry Yards. In addition, the new Proctor Creek Greenway runs through the heart of the site and will eventually link the Westside BeltLine trail with the new Westside Quarry Park.
Major Atlanta destinations are within close proximity to Quarry Yards, including Georgia Tech (1.5 miles), Midtown and Downtown Atlanta (3 miles), and Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (13 miles).
